NTB started as a brass band in 1880, playing music that reflected its German heritage.

We've grown a lot since then: we're now a concert band, with a wide spread of ages and abilities, coming together to enjoy playing music. We don't play in competitions (although band festivals are fun), and many of our members play their second instrument at Nuri so they can enjoy playing without pressure.

We perform regularly, supporting local communities at ANZAC Day, Christmas and for their fetes and fairs, as well as playing for our families, friends and supporters.

And we do enjoy a quiet glass of port after rehearsals (age permitting, of course).
