Hi, hello from Townsville NQld. I play 2/3 Flute in Townsville Community Concert Band (State C Grade Champs 2016) and am visiting Tanunda for a month mid July to mid-August. I’m looking for a chance to keep fingers moving and wind blowing while I’m away from Townsville and was wondering whether you might like a casual flute player during that time?
Tanunda has a brass band but flutes aren’t welcome, apparently.

You would be most welcome to attend our rehearsals while you are in the Barossa. We have two flute players who regularly attend rehearsals.
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings, from 7:45pm until 9:30pm in the band hall on the corner of Old Kapunda Rd and Murray St.
We look forward to seeing you in July – safe travelling.
